• CHANGES TO REMITTANCE/TRANSFERS destined to TRANSCARD ACCOUNTS

Smart-Transfer has made a significant business decision to change the way we settle for remittances destined to Transcard account holders in Cuba. We appreciate your understanding in the way we provide a safe, secure and timely delivery of your funds to your beneficiary in a very competitive manner. The Transcard solution in Cuba does indeed provide the best alternative for your friends or relatives to receive their funds, and we value your business.

Our new pricing shall now be settled in Cuba in Canadian dollars. Transcard beneficiaries shall receive CAD or USD (OFAC eligible) on their card account with us, however when they use their card for cash withdrawals or point of sales purchases in Cuba, they shall receive or purchase goods in the local currency, Cuban Convertible Pesos (CUC).

Smart Transfer customers: Your Smart Transfer account balances shall remain in USD or CAD, if you remit to Cuba the following foreign exchange rate transactions shall occur:

• USD to CAD to CUC
• CAD to CUC
• USD to CUC (OFAC eligible transfers only)

Transcard will continue to accept USD or CAD as a form of payment (International Money Orders or Wire Payments) to your Smart Transfer account.
